A Flintlock Pocket Pistol By Waters. Has a steel turn-off cannon barrel, a iron frame bearing English proof marks and decorated with floral and acanthus leaf motifs and mounted with a trigger-guard safety catch. The slab sided butt is decorated with silver wire scrolls and is mostly intact. the pistol shows a little wear and the butt has a minor age crack, the barrel and frame is not pitted but does have some very minor bumps and scratches, it has a nice silvery patina and looks good. 1 1/2" barrel, 6 1/2" overall length, circa 1760.
