A Miguelet, Cossak Chieftains Pistol. Has a leather covered stock mounted with a ivory, ball butt, the lock is stamped with an armoureres mark and has traces of silver decoration, the slender barrel is decorated with niello work, mostly worn off. The barrel is secured with 3 steel barrel bands. This is a very elegent, slender pistol in excellent condition, the leather stock covering is complete and intact, the lock is crisp and works well. 11" barrel, 16" overall length, circa 1790.
