A C.R. Alsop Pocket Model Revolver, .31 cal. Sn.528, The lowest number known is 526. Has a standard 4" barrel, walnut grips blued frame, cylinder and barrel. This pistol has a tiny crack in the frame where the ramrod assembly screw is located, otherwise it is in excellent working order and condition retaining ample amounts of original blue finish and grips with most original varnish. Only 300 of these very fine revolvers were manufactured in Middletown Ct. in the years 1862-1863. 10" overall length.
