A Pair of Unnamed Napoleonic flintlock Pistols. Have octagonal Damascus barrels bearing Liege proofmarks for 1811, (Liege was part of France at this time). They also have 3 other proofmarks one of which appears to be a Fleur de Leis, the others are indistinct but have traces of gold. Full stocked with a finely checkered, silver pinhead decorated butt, has very well executed, engraved iron furniture consisting of: trigger-guards engraved with a potted plants and having a very fancy finials engraved with scrolls and acanthus leafs, ramrod throats with reverse engraving to the finials, faceted ramrod pipes, a octagonal shaped buttcaps engraved with stalking leopards and two sideplates engraved with acanthus leafs. Barrells 6 ¾”, 13” overall length. The ramrods are good replacement, otherwise condition is very good on both pistols with no pitting or flaws. $5,750, the pair
