A VERY EARLY ENGLISH WHEELOCK HORN POWDER FLASK. This flattened horn flask is mounted with an iron top supporting the spout and spring loaded cutoff. There are some small screws missing but everything else appears to be intact. The bottom of the horn is also iron. This flask does have some minor age cracks but is in very good condition for age. The horn is very nicely figured and has a lovely age patins. Complete with section of original carrying chain. 14” overall length, circa 1650.
