M116 A USN NAVAL POWDER FLASK. Marked N.P. AMES, 1843. This very large martial flask is made from brass. Is embossed with a fouled anchor above U.S.N. on each side. This is a very attractive flask, however there is some small dings on each side and the thumb lever button is smaller than normal. Good working order, 9 ½” overall length.
