M115
A FRENCH CANE INCORPORATING A 4 SHOT .22CAL. PISTOL AND TWO DAGGERS. The cane has a black horn handle secured with a silver band, and another silver band inscribed “PARIS”, this second band joins the removable body of the cane from the handle. When the bottom part is removed a 4 shot fluted barrel is revealed, which has a folding trigger and supports a square shaped, 6 ¼” spike, this spike is inscribed “PARIS BREVETTE”. The barrel is inscribed “PARIS” and bears a Liege proof mark. Wait! There is more, when the cane is flicked forward, a 6” dagger flies forward from the bottom of the cane and locks into place. This is indeed a fearsome weapon, and so very well made. I cannot figure out exactly how to operate the pistol, there appears to be some minor fault, or perhaps a little rust is preventing it from opening, but I am sure this can be rectified. 32 ½” overall length with the bottom blade retracted, circa 1880, excellent condition.
