A Spear Pointed Bowie Knife by Corsan, Denton Burdekin & Co. The 7” blade has the makers name on the ricasso, the grip is horn and is mounted with a fancy nickel silver pommel and bolster and it has a boat shaped nickel silver guard. The sheath is original, red leather covered, but a substantial part at the tip is missing. 11 ½” overall length, has some wear but generally in good condition, circa 1850.
