A Clip Pointed Bowie Knife by Ferraby & Hare, Hull. The 9” blade has the makers name inscribed on the flat a little worn and hard to read, The grips are molded gutta-percha, the ferrule and guard are nickel silver, the sheath is a very good replacement made of leather with a nickel silver throat and tip. A small part of the grip at the end is missing, otherwise this knife is in excellent condition.14” overall length, circa 1865.
