A Dirk Knife by George Wostenholm, Sheffield, has a double edged blade, a nickel silver guard and a fancy cutlery style nickel silver grip decorated with grape vine motifs. The blade has been a little overcleaned, the grip is excellent. The leather sheath is a bit later and is worn and broken. 9 1/2/” overall length, blade is 5 ¼”. Circa 1855.
