A clip pointed Bowie Knife by Alfred Field & Co. Sheffield England. Has a 6” blade with the makers name on the ricasso. The blade also has a Grenadier Guard engraved on the flat. Has a boat shaped nickel silver guard, staghorn grips secured with 3 rivets and mounted with a shield shaped nickel silver escutcheon. Complete with its embossed leather sheath. 10” overall length, circa 1895. Excellent condition.
