PO460.   A BRITISH FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOL BY JNO. JONES, LONDON. This delightful pistol has a rounded frame and stock, the .50 cal. screw-off barrel is engraved at the muzzle, the frame is engraved on each side with a stand of arms and the makers name on the left-hand side. There is a nicely engraved, silver butt-cap and a silver escutcheon. It has a finely checkered stock, a sliding safety catch mounted on the barrel tang and a folding trigger. This pistol is in MINT condition throughout, 1 ¾” barrel, 6 ½” overall length, circa 1805. $1,775.
